I’m working towards restoring a Columbian press and, hopefully, bringing it back into working use.

The Columbian press is an ornate, cast-iron lever-action hand printing press invented by George Clymer in 1813 that allowed an entire newspaper page to be printed in a single pull using a system of compound levers and a counterweight eagle.

I’ll be documenting the restoration here as it develops!
