Original, handmade, relief print depicting a Fish leaping from the surface of the sea in a joyous flourish!

I carved the print by hand and used a baren to transfer the image to Hosho japanese paper. For this edition I used a rich, black colour as I wanted to create a simple, bold image.

Details:

Paper size: approximately 14 x 14 cm
Image size: roughly 7.5 x 7.5 cm
Unframed and unmounted

Each print is created on Japanese Hosho paper, which brings a delicate texture to the artwork. Please note that due to differences in computer monitors, the colors in the listing may vary slightly from the actual print.

As with all hand-printed works, each print in this limited edition will have slight variations, including occasional speckling or texture, which adds to the unique, handmade quality of the piece.

Edition:

This is a limited edition run of 30 prints. Each print will be signed by me in pencil and numbered along the bottom of the design. Numbers are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shipping:

This print will be shipped inside a small cardboard backed envelope. The print itself is also wrapped in a biodergradable cellophane bag and supported by recycled cardboard backing to ensure the print does not crease in transit.

A3 or similar size prints will be wrapped in tissue paper and rolled in a cardboard postal tube for protection during shipping. Once received I advise that you allow the print to uncurl and also flatten the edges under heavy books for a few a day or two before framing.
